Derek Lewis Foundation Donates Bikes to Combat Childhood Obesity

_bikes_for_kids_katv_videoThe Derek Lewis Foundation's Bikes For Kids will rollout more than new bikes and helmets for Pre-K students at Washington Elementary School in Little Rock to encourage physical activity as one way to help prevent childhood obesity. The Foundation's Bikes For Kids mission is to promote health and fitness in high poverty communities for disadvantaged children. Bikes For Kids was launched by Dr. Derek Lewis to support obesity intervention and prevention education by providing resources to parents, teachers, and the community on the severity of childhood obesity.  DLF will also place bikes in the Delta Region this year in cities such as Forrest City, Hughes, West Helena, Fordyce, and Marianna.
